Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about our specialty coffee, the roasting process, and brewing methods.

What does specialty coffee mean?

Specialty coffee is classified as the highest quality of green coffee beans. We select only beans with a score above 80 points, sourced from small farms and grown in the ideal microclimate. The aroma, acidity, and body are exceptional and consistent.

How do you roast the coffee?

We use an artisanal drum roaster, where the beans are heated evenly. Each origin has a customized roasting profile, created by our master roaster to highlight the best flavor notes – from fruity and floral to those with cocoa and nuts.

What brewing methods do you recommend?

For our oriental coffee, we warmly recommend the ibrik (cezve) or slow-coffee methods: pour-over (V60, Chemex) and french press. These allow control over the extraction time and water temperature, highlighting the complexity of our freshly roasted beans' aroma.

How fresh is the coffee upon delivery?

All orders are roasted to order. We roast, pack in valve bags, and ship on the same day or the next business day. This way, you receive the coffee at the peak of freshness and flavor, perfect for consumption within the next 3-4 weeks.

Do you grind coffee for espresso?

Yes, we have blends created specifically for espresso, with a rich body and consistent crema, as well as unique origins roasted darker. We can guide you in choosing the most suitable option for your home espresso machine.
